During the TFK cooking shows, you’ll experience a 3 course dinner prepared right in front you. You’ll also learn about why cooking at home has  so many benefits rather than going out to eat. Cooking at home provides so much more control over what you are eating and how much you are spending. It does get busy in life and going out to eat certaining has it’s place, but make a habit of it and you will spend a  lot more money than you think you are spending and you really won’t know what you are eating.



When you are preparing meals at home, you know how much you had to spend and you also know how much and what you are putting in your meals. Many people are trying to eat healthier and that is much easier to accomplish when you know what you are eating. Clean Eating is type of eating that consists of whole foods, or “real” foods — those that are un- or minimally processed, refined, and handled, making them as close to their natural form as possible. When you choose to try and eat clean, you’ll get the best value in your food. Eating healthy means eating more fruits and vegetables, proteins and less fats and carbohydrates. When you are going to restaurant, you really don’t know how that meal was prepared or how much of the products are in that meal that you don’t want in your diet.

In addition to knowing what you are eating and what you are spending, the benefits of cooking as a family are also included and high on the priority list. If weeknights are too challenging to cook, maybe use the weekends to make your meals for the week. Not only will this create family time, you’ll be teaching your children life long skills that will help them to eat healthy.

TFK Cooking Shows are educational as well as fun. You’ll meet other people who are also interested in eating more at home, enjoy cooking, enjoy eating healthy or are looking to save money.
